Abstract:
PURPOSE: To display images from plural cameras on one screen and to display the optional image while magnifying it, etc., by dividing a display screen into the same number as the number of processing units, displaying the images different from each other and displaying the image of an optional divided area with zoom-up, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A video signal is inputted to PIP units 1-4 after is decoded by decoders 1-4, and is converted to a signal of a reduced video, etc., to be outputted from a quadripartite output terminal 9 through a D/A converter 5, an LPF 6 and a color encoder 7, etc. By a micro computer 10, the switching of switches SW1-6, the PIP units 1-4, a key matrix 11 and a display matrix 12 are controlled. The input positions of the switches SW1-4 are used for displaying the reduced video on one of quadripartite pictures or the unmagnified video on a full screen, etc. Further, by the switch SW5, one of the signals is selected, and is outputted to the switches 1-3 and 6 through an ATT 13, and the reduced video signal, etc., is outputted from a video output terminal 14.
