PURPOSE: To obtain a multi-function type serial/parallel conversion circuit by providing m-set of nb registers, a BMX circuit and a control circuit controlling the write/read of the n6 registers, BMX circuit and a selector circuit.
CONSTITUTION: In case of serial/parallel conversion, selector circuits 104n17 select and output serial signals inputted individually, 32b registers 30∼37 convert and output the serial signal from the corresponding selector circuit into a parallel signal, the BMX circuit 70 inputs the parallel signal outputted from the 32b registers 30∼37 and the signal is multiplexed and outputted. In case of parallel/serial conversion, the BMX circuit buffers the inputted parallel signal sequentially up to a prescribed capacity and outputs it to each 32b register at the same time, each 32b register converts the parallel signal from the BMX circuit into a serial signal and outputs the result respectively. In case of erastic storage, each 32b register stores a serial signal and outputs it after a prescribed time.
