Title:
MULTI-LAYER SLIDING MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3679312
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve anti-fretting performance of a material with polytetrafluoroethylene set as a major component.
SOLUTION: A bush is so constituted that a porous sintering metal layer 7 composed of copper via a copper plating layer 6 is provided in the surface side of a back plate layer 5 composed of a steel plate and a sliding material 8 impregnates and coats the inside and the surface of the porous sintering metal layer 7. The components of sliding material 8 are composed of the polytetrafluoroethylene (55 vol.% or more of the whole) as its main components, 1-25 vol.% of tetrafluoroethylene-perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether copolymer resin, and 0.1-10 vol.% of hard particles such as Al2O3 SiC with 4 or more in Mohs' hardness and 5 μm or less in means grain size. Solid lubricant such as graphite and MoS2 along with the hard particle can be included 0.5-25 vol.% in total.
