Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a golf ball excellent in resilience and spin characteristic.
SOLUTION: In a multi-layer structure for a solid golf ball 1 in which a solid core 2 is covered with a cover layer 4 through an intermediate layer 3, the intermediate layer 3 is made of thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer as a chief material and the cover layer 4 is made of ionomer resin as a chief material. An adhesive layer 5 is formed on the intermediate layer 3 and the cover layer 4 is laminated on the adhesive layer 5.
