PURPOSE: To uniformly make distribution even if the distributor is connected to an evaporator and the like of different volume by using a branch pipe different in inside diameter or length, or both.

CONSTITUTION: When the length of a branch capillary tube of the same inside diameter is lengthened, the pressure loss of the branch capillary tube is 4P7a<4P7b at the time when the flow of 1/2F is made in each flow passage (a), (b). There the lengths of the branch capillary tubes 7a, 7b are selected so that the total pressure loss (7a→4a→8a→9a) of each flow passage (a), (b) may be equal to the pressure loss of (7b→4b→8b→9b). Thereby it becomes Fa=Fb regardless of difference and the like in the volume of evaporator parts 8a, 8b and uniform distribution can be achieved.
