To use an opening zone as stages for various kinds of events or temporary seats for the audience while an athletic zone of an indoor stadium is opened to the outside to facilitate the conveyance of a natural lawn panel to the athletic zone from a natural lawn developing zone adjacent thereto by using part of the permanent seat zone for the opening zone.
A multi-purpose stadium is constituted of an indoor stadium 1 and a natural lawn developing zone 4 adjacent to the indoor stadium 1. An athletic zone 3 of the indoor stadium 1 can be used for the lawn ground 7 by the conveyance of a natural lawn panel 5 in the natural lawn developing zone 4 as the multi-purpose stadium. Part of the permanent seat zone surrounding the athletic zone of the indoor stadium 1 is opened with the approximately same width as that of the athletic zone 3, and an opening zone 6 capable of being used for a carrying in and out space of the natural lawn panel 5, materials, etc. and an installation space 8 of stages, etc. is provided between the natural lawn developing zone 4 and athletic zone 3.
