Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-row combination ball bearing device which is compact in size, suppresses abnormal damage caused by erroneous alignment, and can suppress a slide of balls and a cage.SOLUTION: In a multi-row combination ball bearing device 10, a snap-ring shaped outer ring washer 21 which can be engaged with an engagement groove 20 formed at a housing 19 is arranged between outer rings 12, 12 of two-row ball bearings 17, 18. Axial widths W1 of the outer rings 12, 12 are smaller than axial widths W2 of inner rings 14, 14. Cages 16, 16 are types of inner ring guide. A clearance W4 between the cages 16, 16 of the two-row ball bearings 17, 18 is set smaller than an axial width W3 of the outer ring washer 21. An inside diameter dimension φ1 of the outer ring washer 21 which is contracted at insertion to the housing is set larger than outside diameter dimensions φ2 of the cages 16, 16. Furthermore, a remaining clearance between the ball bearings 17, 18 is positive.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
