Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-shaft driving unit which enables a body-to-be-driven to be accurately located in a target position, while realizing the control of the feed rate of the body to be driven, in accordance with a rate command set by a user.
SOLUTION: This multi-shaft driving unit comprises the body to be driven, which is moved in the axial direction of a plurality of shafts by the rotation or movement of the plurality of shafts, a plurality of driving means for rotating or moving the respective shafts, and a control means 21 for controlling for controlling the respective driving means; the control means 21 is equipped with first rate command generating means 210, 213 and 214 for generating a first rate command Vd corresponding to the location deviation of the body to be driven, with respect to a commanded target position, a second rate command generating means 211 for generating a second rate command Vr corresponding to a commanded target rate of the body to be driven, and a rate command selecting means 220 for selecting smaller either of the commands Vd and Vr; and the rate command, which is selected by the means 220, is applied to the control of each of the driving means.
