To provide a multi-stage rotor which preventing an impeller from being floated off a shaft by a centrifugal force caused by a high speed rotation and compressing gas by the rotation thereof in a high speed rotation range, and also to provide a centrifugal compressor having the rotor.
This multi-stage rotor 30 comprises a plurality of impeller members 32 formed by integrating an impeller part V having a plurality of vanes and leading gas in a generally radial direction by the rotation of the vanes before compression and shaft parts S positioned at the center part of the impeller part V and forming the rotating shaft of the impeller part V. The shaft parts S are connected continuously and parallel with each other on a same axis. The centrifugal compressor is formed by using the multi-stage rotor 30 so that gas such as hydrogen hard to be compressed can be surely compressed at a high compressibility.
