PURPOSE: To provide in a time switch memory a capacity enough to time exchange the minimum multi-calling of multi-callings to be treated and to reduce the quantity of hardware of the time switch by disposing the plural types of the multi-callings cyclically for a basic switching on a highway.
CONSTITUTION: In a TST switch constitution, there is a space switch 12 of a specific bit in which two specific bit parallel highways are respectively accommodated in an input and an output sides. In the input and output sides of the space switch 12, one set of a time switch 10 of the specific bit and the second specific word and one set of a time switch 11 of the specific bit and the specific word are respectively disposed. The time switch 10 is constituted so as to treat the calling of the third specific kb/s as the minimum multi-calling. Namely, this correspond to the speed of a 1 time slot of this system. The quantity of the storage of the time switch 10 is the second specific word, so that the second specific kb/s in which the time slots of the third specific kb/s of the speed are disposed in the respective prescribed cycles and the multi-calling of the fourth specific kb/s are exchanged by performing the time conversion in the second specific time slot.
