Abstract:

To provide multicomponent food having improved good taste and storage stability, especially multicomponent dried pet food or animal food remarkably improved in palatability, and to provide a method for producing and using the food.

The animal food which has inner components as a lipid and solid mixture, surrounded with an outer matrix so as to increase palatability of double components is provided. Especially, the animal food which has the center of a softer lipid base surrounded with a harder shell material so as to significantly improve palatability is provided.
