Title:
MULTICONDUCTOR TRANSMISSION LINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3171499
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To effectively prevent occurrence of corona noise by preventing spacers which support the subline conductor of a transmission line from generating heat and, at the same time, relieving the potential gradient between the main conductors and subline conductor of the transmission line.
CONSTITUTION: Both ends of the subline conductor 14 of this transmission lines are anchored to the anchoring sections 18 and 18' of a steel tower through supporting insulators 16 and 16' and the subline conductor 14 is supported by two ground-side main line conductors 12A and 12B through one conductive attached-line spacer 24 and a plurality of insulating attached-line spacers 26. Therefore, the surface potential gradient between the main line conductors 12A and 12B decreases and the occurrence of corona noise can be effectively reduced, since the subline conductor 14 can be maintained at the same potential as those at the main line conductors 12A and 12B. In addition, since no electric current is separated to the subline conductor 14 from the main line conductors 12A and 12B due to the spacer 26 and insulators 16 and 16', the spacer 24 is effectively prevented from generating heat.
