To provide a multidirectional operation switch capable of switching operation in a plurality of directions with a small number of parts.

This multidirectional operation switch, in a flat casing, comprises a base member on which a common fixed contact is arranged in the center and a plurality of individual fixed contacts are arranged separately outside the common fixed contact, a ring-shaped conductive movable contact member 10 arranged apart from the individual fixed contacts above the common fixed contact 3a and the individual fixed contacts, having a width for overstriding the common fixed contact and the individual fixed contacts, and a movable switching member 5 having a fulcrum shaft in the center and each individual projection at the position corresponding to each peripheral individual fixed contact almost in the center of the upper surface of the casing, above the ring-shaped movable contact member and being arranged in such a manner as to be capable of tilting around the fulcrum shaft. In a switching operation, when a surface peripheral part of the movable switching member is pushed, the movable switching member tilts, and the movable contact member is depressed by a corresponding projection of the movable switching member. Thus the common fixed contact has a contact with one individual fixed contact positioned in the direction of switching operation.
