To provide a multidirectional input/output turntable composite differential gear device, to provide applications to a continuously variable transmission CVT and automatic transmission AT, and to provide the continuously variable transmission CVT and automatic transmission AT, to which the multidirectional input/output turntable composite differential gear device is applied.
In turning techniques relating to a differential gear device, the installation devices of a pinion carrier device, differential gear installation device, and differential limitation and the other associated devices for installing a pinion gear, differential gear, and differential limitation and the other associated devices are installed as a device of a turntable from a shaft side to a circumferential side or from a transmission case side to the shaft side, and further are disposed continuously in an axial direction and a circumferential direction. Next, the pinion gear, differential gear, and differential limitation and the other associated devices are installed in the turntable, thereby providing a multidirectional input/output turntable composite differential gear which transmits, cuts off and limits power between the respective devices. Next, the multidirectional input/output turntable composite differential gear is applied to a transmission device and revolving power inputted to the device is outputted continuously on multiple stages, thereby providing a composite differential gear CVAT device.
