PURPOSE: To scale down a circuit constitution and to obtain high reliability by constituting so that serial and parallel signals are edited and stored so as to output them.
CONSTITUTION: Maximum and minimum value detection and memory parts 1aW1n detect the maximum and minimum values of input signals inputted in parallel, store them, count and store the number of appearing maximum and minimum values, and output them selectively. Shift register parts 14aW14n output input signals inputted serially as serial and parallel signals. A counter part 13 counts an external input signal and outputs its count signal. A selector part 25 outputs selectively signals from the maximum and minimum value detection and memory parts 1aW1n, the shift register parts 14aW14n and the counter part 13.
