Abstract:

To provide a multifunctional nanowire that is utilizable in medical and biological fields and allows several kinds of substances to be chemically and physically attached on it, method of manufacturing the same, and a concentration method using the multifunctional nanowire.

Organic substances are bonded on the surface of a nanowire mainly made of iron and having a diameter of ≤300 nm and a length of ≤300 μm.
