Abstract:
PURPOSE:To execute the effective utilization of an image memory and the improvement of a function as reproducing equipment by selecting which of signals among reproducing digital signals from the different kinds of recording media is stored into a storing means. CONSTITUTION:An A/D-converted video signal is stored through an input buffer part 13 into an image memory 30, and a sound signal is digitized by an A/D converter 22 when it is an analog signal, and the sound signal is stored through an input buffer part 23 into the image memory part 30 when it is a digital signal as a CD reproducing signal. The image memory part 30 has a capacity for, for example, one field, and the storing action can be switched according to the control condition of a first memory control part 14 or a second memory control part 24. In such a way, an effectiveness can be executed in the case of processing the reproducing signals from respective kinds of recording media, and simultaneously, an effect to combine the reproducing signals from respective kinds of recording media can be also obtained.
