Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a multilayer hollow plastic container having excellent impact resistance and workability at the time of molding without damaging transparency and glossiness.

CONSTITUTION: A multilayer hollow plastic container consists of a core layer consisting of gas barrier resin and a layer consisting of polyolefin resin. At least for the utmost external layer, a resin composition which contains an isotactic polypropylene and a syndiotactic polypropylene wherein a ratio of molecular weight distribution to be regulated by a weight average molecular weight/a number average molecular weight is below 2.5 and a rate of the isotactic polypropylene based on the total weight of the two is 5-30wt.% is used. Preferably, 5-40 pts.wt. of extremely low density polyethylene is mixed per 100 pts.wt. of the resin composition.
