PURPOSE: To obtain a multilayer stretched film excellent in sequential biaxial stretching properties, pinhole resistance, transparency and mechanical strength by using a single layer of nylon MXD 6 obtained by the polycondensation of m-xylenediamine and adipic acid as a polyamide resin layer.

CONSTITUTION: In a multilayer stretched film containing a polyamide resin layer A, a polyolefin resin layer B, a saponified ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer resin layer C, a modified polyolefin adhesive resin layer D and a heat sealing resin layer E, the polyamide resin layer A is composed of a single layer of nylon MXD 6 obtained by the polycondensation of m-xylenediamine and adipic acid or a layer of a blend consisting of nylon MXD 6 and other nylon. A proper amount of a proper lubricant may be added to the polyolefin resin layer B becoming the outermost layer and the heat sealing resin layer E becoming the innermost layer in order to enhance the mechanical aptitude to a packing machine.
