Abstract:

To provide a multilayer structure which is excellent in the effect of scavenging or absorbing oxygen and in low-odor properties in case of packaging products having high sensitivity to oxygen and apt to deteriorate, such as foods, drinks, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics in particular, and which has excellent gas barrier properties, moistureproofness, fragrance keeping properties, flavor barrier properties and the low-odor properties in addition to the effect of scavenging or absorbing oxygen.

The multilayer structure comprises a layer of an oxygen- absorbing resin composition composed of a thermoplastic resin (a) having a prescribed structural unit of which the number-average molecular weight is in the range of 1,000-500,000 and which has a carbon-carbon double bond, and of a transition-metal salt (b), and a deodorizing layer constituted of a deodorizer (c) and a thermoplastic resin (d).
