To obtain a multilayer woven fabric capable of facilitating treatment of edge parts when selvedge parts are cut off and cylindrical parts are opened, securely carrying out the treatment, not causing a fray, usable in a good appearance externally.

This woven fabric is woven by a multilayer weaving of two or more layers of woven fabric layers 1a and 1b. In a main part 10, the woven fabric layers 1a and 1b are successively displaced at fixed intervals in the weaving direction, alternately transferred to the surface side and the back side so that the two-layer woven fabric layers 1a and 1b are crossed and knotted. Cylindrical bag parts 2 are connected through knotted parts 3 in the weaving direction and simultaneously, in selvedge woven parts 11 at both side edges, selvedge woven parts 11a and 11b of the layers are not mutually bonded and woven in a separated state. After weaving, the selvedge woven parts 11a and 11b of the layers are melted and cut, respectively or fused with a thermally fusible yarn and cut. Both the edges of each cylindrical part 2 are opened so as not to fray open edge parts 21.
