The multimedia outlet 3 is provided with a LAN receptacle 4 for transmission of data communication signals, a telephone receptacle 5 for transmission of audio communication signals, and a TV receptacle 6 for transmission of image communication signals. The LAN receptacle 4 is provided with a plug-connecting part 42 to be connected, with a modular plug for the LAN fitted at a cable from a network apparatus in a free removable manner, and a DC power superimposing part 44 which superimposes DC power on the plug-connecting part 42. The telephone receptacle 5 is provided with a plug-connecting part 52, which is to be connected to a modular plug fitted at a cable from a communication apparatus, such as, phone in a freely removable manner, and a DC power superimposing part 54 for superimposing DC power on the plug connecting part 52. The TV receptacle 6 is provided with a coaxial connector connecting part 62 to be connected with a coaxial connector fitted at a cable from an image apparatus, and a DC power superimposing part 64 for superimposing DC power on the coaxial connector connecting part 62.
