Abstract:

To provide a multimedia playing device and a method for operating and controlling the device, enhancing the convenience for use by a projection system.

The multimedia playing device 1 stores an image 21, including a plurality of multimedia options: a portion of the image 21 is defined as a projecting area 32; the portion of the image 21 corresponding to the projecting area 32 is projected; movement of the multimedia playing device 1 is sensed; the projecting area in the image 21 is made to respond to the movement of the multimedia playing device 1; and the multimedia options are displayed by a projecting system, and a user browses the multimedia options by a dynamic sensing system and carries out search and selection.
