PURPOSE: To minimize the split loss of a channel processing capability by giving a logical number to a time slot dividing minutely the minimum access capability of a terminal as the management unit, managing the idle/occupied time slot grouped for each access capability type so as to control the connection/ disconnection of the switch.
CONSTITUTION: With a connection request given, a time slot having an access capability corresponding to the attribute of a terminal is hunt be a time slot occupancy management table. Then the physical time slot number is obtained from the logical time slot number of the hunt time slot depending on the time slot number conversion table and the obtained time slot is assigned to the terminal. The disconnecting processing is implemented reversely. Thus, the multiplex switch can apply the connection and disconnection processing of the terminal with different access capability depending on the access capability in multiple access, the split loss is minimized and the efficiency is improved.
