PURPOSE: To attain data reception confirming operation of the instantaneous tye multiple address communication with a simple method by adding simply transmission signals fed from lines accomodated to a telephone exchange network, and connecting a bridge distributing the result of addition to each line to an exchange network.
CONSTITUTION: Data terminal devices 1∼4 of the semi-duplex communication control transmitting a transmission carrier wave only at data signal transmission are accommodated to the exchange 9, which is connected to a bridge device 15 via a hybrid circuit 14. The device 15 adds simply signals transmitted from each line via transmission switches 23∼26 by using an adder circuit 15-1 and has a function distributing instantly the result of addition on each line via subtraction circuits 31∼34 and reception switches 27∼30. When a terminal device having a transmission data completes the data multiple address transmission operation, an inquiry signal including individual address information identifying a terminal device is transmitted simultaneously to each reception terminal device via the device 15. The reception terminal device identifying the own address responds the normality/abnormality of the received data to a transmission terminal device via the exchange device 9 and the device 15 and the transmission terminal device performs sequentially the confirming operation.
