Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide necessary sufficient air conditioning capacity by a method wherein capacity of a compressor is increased based on a difference between the delivery refrigerant temperature of a compressor and the temperature of a refrigerant flowing to each indoor heat exchanger during heating operation.
CONSTITUTION: The delivery refrigerant temperatures of compressors 3-5 are detected by means of discharge temperature sensors 16, 16, 16, and 16, and a suction refrigerant temperature is detected by suction temperature sensors 17 and 17. In a case of heating operation, the temperature of a refrigerant flowing to indoor heat exchangers 24, 34, and 44 functioned as a condenser is detected by temperature sensors 18, 18, and 18. Respective differences between detected temperatures by the discharge temperature sensors 16, 16, 16, and 16 and detected temperatures by the temperature sensors 18, 18, and 18 are detected. In case the wiring of an indoor unit C1 is long and when one of the detected temperatures exceeds a given value, the operation frequency of the compressor 3 is increased one step at a time within a range in which each of the detected temperatures by the discharge temperature sensors 16, 16, 16, and 16 and the temperature sensors 17 and 17 is prevented from exceeding a specified value or being below the specified value.
