Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple container by a simple manufacturing process, thereby minimizing the amount of packaging materials.
SOLUTION: The multiple container comprises a plurality of cuplike container bodies 2 each having an outwardly opened flange part, the inner surface of the body 2 having thermal-bonding properties, and a holder 3 made of a paperboard, the inner surface of which is coated with a thermoplastic resin. The container bodies 2 are arranged in one row and each opened flange part is bonded to the inner surface of the holder 3, while the holder 3 has folding strip parts 3' each having an arcuate incision in conformity with a portion of the opened flange part, on the side of the holder 3, on which the container bodies 2 are arranged. Since a conventional seal cover such as a film can be omitted, the amount of wastes can be reduced. Further, by only folding the folding parts of the holder, the holder can be reinforced against the bending thereof.
