A plurality of single grinding wheel disks 3 each consisting of a disk base 1 with abrasive grains for cutting bonded to the periphery as a cutting edge 2 are juxtaposed on a fixed block 5 placed o a spindle 4, with the sides of the disk bases 1 so put in contact as to be separable at given pitches. In each single grinding wheel disk 3, the cutting edge 2 has a smaller thickness than the disk base 1, so that work to be cut can be machined at the same pitch as the thickness of the disk base 1.
