PURPOSE: To considerably reduce the equipment cost and running cost as a whole by a method wherein two or more sorts of cottonlike items are packed parallel by a compression-packing machine.
CONSTITUTION: In the case two or more sorts of cottonlike synthetic fiber (staple fiber S, tow T) having different natures are packed in a factory, exclusive and lightweight stable fiber and tow returnable containers 1 and 2 are provided to fill the synthetic fiber. The returnable containers 1 and 2 are circulated by rollers or traversers 4a and 4b with slats and a conveyer 14 and the cottonlike synthetic fiber filled in the returnable containers is transferred by a transfer device from a position on the circulation conveying route to an deflation-compression chamber 3 equipped with an air vent porous filter.
