PURPOSE: To sharply improve manpower-saving and productivity by a method wherein packaged cupped-needle products of the specified number are vertically piled in a stack and dropped into a gasseted bag, and sealing of the bag and cutting of the film between the top and bottom seals are simultaneously carried out to continuously perform multiple-packaging of two or more products.

CONSTITUTION: A gasseting device 17 performs gasseting of a vertically seamed tubular film at a position right under the lower end of a chute, and includes upper gasseters 18a and 19a which are opened and closed by upper left and right cylinders 18 and 19, and lower gasseters 20a and 21a which are opened and closed by lower cylinders 20 and 21. When a gasseted bag in which products are packaged is lowered below the gasseting device 17, a horizontal sealing- cutting device 23 simultaneously performs sealing of the top of a gasseted gab 3d on the lower stage, sealing of the bottom of the succeeding bag on the upper stage, and cutting of film between the top and bottom seals. The horizontal sealing-cutting device 23 is equipped with a perforating device which presses a heated rod on to a position slightly above the bottom seal of the succeeding gasseted bag to make a vent hole during horizontal sealing-cutting of the gasseted bag 3d.
