Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase the mechanical strength of a valve plate and to improve the durability, by specifying the interval between two discharge ports, as well as composing the discharge ports of the valve plate with front side grooves discontinuous in the circumferential direction, formed on a slidable surface, and rear side grooves formed on the rear side surface.
CONSTITUTION: To plural cylinder holes 4 arranged on the same circumference of a cylinder block 3, pistons reciprocating through swash plates are inserted, and a fluid is fed and discharged through a valve plate 9 on which a circular arc form suction port 12, and discharge ports 13a and 13b are formed, to the cylinder holes 4. In such a multipiston pump, the inner and the outer discharge ports 13a and 13b are composed of front side grooves 16a and 16b provided discontinuously in the circumferential direction, and rear side grooves 17a and 17b to communicate the front side grooves 16a and 16b each other. The rear side grooves 17a and 17b are formed offset to the front side grooves 16a and 16b respectively, at the center side of the valve plate 9 as to the inner side discharge port 13a, and at the outer periphery side as to the outer side discharge port 13b.
