Title:
MULTIPLE REFLECTION OPTICAL SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0248625
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To miniaturize the whole device, while preventing an unnecessary luminous flux from being made incident onto an image forming lens by placing four reflecting mirrors so that adjacent reflecting surfaces are orthogonal to each other, and reflecting a light beam plural times by at least one reflecting surface among four reflecting surfaces, thereafter, guiding it in the prescribed direction. CONSTITUTION:A luminous flux based on image information on a document placing table 5 illuminated by a light source 6 passes through a slit 9 and guided into a multiple reflecting mirror having four reflecting mirrors. Thereafter, the luminous flux is reflected successively by the reflecting mirrors 1, 2, 3 and 4, makes one circulation, thereafter, after being further reflected by the reflecting mirrors 1, 2 and 3, made incident on an image forming lens 7, and its image is formed on the surface of a CCD 8. In such a case, by moving the document placing table 6 at prescribed speed in the direction as indicated with an arrow S1, the image information on the document placing table 5 is read by the CCD 8. In such a state, by making the reflecting mirrors 2, 3 movable in one body in the direction as indicated with an arrow S2, and correcting the optical path length, the read magnification of the image information on the document placing table 5 can be varied.
