Abstract:
This multiple rotor-type electric motor is provided with: a stator which comprises a stator winding that forms a stator rotating magnetic field, and is affixed to a case: a composite rotor which comprises a rotating field magnet part that generates torque by electromagnetic interaction with the stator rotating magnetic field, an inductive winding that generates induced electromotive force by electromagnetic inductive action with the stator rotating magnetic field, and a rotor winding that is electrically connected to the inductive winding and forms a rotor rotating magnetic field in the same rotation direction as the stator rotating magnetic field, and is axially supported to rotate freely; a rotor which comprises an output field magnet part that generates torque by electromagnetic interaction with the rotor rotating magnetic field, and is rotatable at higher speed than the composite rotor; an output shaft which is joined to the rotor and axially supported to rotate freely; and a power supply part which overlappingly passes two alternating currents having different frequencies through the stator winding. Consequently, a plurality of motor units can be integrally combined and driven by a single power supply part, and higher-speed rotation, reduced size, lower cost, and freedom from maintenance can be achieved.
