Abstract:
PURPOSE: To form a working fluid passage for contraction driving purpose on a multiple stage fluid pressure cylinder without drilling on the side wall of an intermediate cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: Intermediate cylinders 14, 16 are provided between a cylindric outer side cylinder 12 and a rod 18. Respective intermediate cylinders 14, 16 are composed of outer cylinders 26, 52 and inner cylinders 28, 54 inserted into the outer cylinders and a passage for working fluid to make contraction drive is made by passage gaps 30, 56 secured on the two cylinders.
