PURPOSE: To inexpensively obtain a multiple type writing utensil wherein a plurality of writing bodies can be brought in and out of a fore end port of a fore holder selectively by rotating a cap and also a rubber eraser can be brought in and out by rotating a top crown in the rear end.

CONSTITUTION: A projection 17 provided on the outer peripheral part of a cylindrical cam 5 is fitted elastically in a peripheral groove 19 provided in the outer peripheral part in the rear of a middle holder l. The cylindrical cam 5 is prevented from slipping off the middle holder 1, while it is made rotatable in relation to this holder, and a tube part having a slit 37 is provided integrally in the rear of the cylindrical cam 5. On the other hand, a helical groove 36 is formed in the inner hole part of a top crown 34 made of resin and a cap 4 of resin wherein the tube part of the cylindrical cam 5 is fitted is formed. A rubber eraser holder 40 holding a rubber eraser 46 is fitted in the tube part of the cylindrical cam 5. The fore end of a writing body is brought in and out by rotating the cap 4 in relation to a fore holder or the middle holder 1, while the rubber eraser can be brought in and out by rotating a tube part 34' of the top crown in relation to the cap.
