Abstract:
PURPOSE:To quickly detect the troubles in the titled system by using a 1st switch put into a branch line connecting a communication line and each sequence controller, the 2nd and 3rd switches put into the communication line at both ends of the joint between the branch line and the communication line, and a spare line which secures a loop-shaped connection of the communication line. CONSTITUTION:A signal transmission line can be specified by successively turning on and off the 1st-3rd switches S11-S13,...,Sn1-Sn3 connected to sequence controllers A1-An respectively. Under such conditions, it is checked whether the communication abnormality occurs or not. Thus the trouble areas can be easily specified and therefore the diagnoses of troubles are carried out easily and quickly. In addition, a spare line SP functions to secure a loop-shaped connection for a communication line D. Thus those 1st-3rd switches are properly turned on and off and the trouble areas can be separated from the line D. At the same time, the line SP is connected to the line D. Thus it is possible to detour signals the trouble areas and to realize the actuation of other nondefective systems.
