Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a bed to give comfortable massage effect on whole parts of a body, by equipping plural pushing rods, which are movable in the vertical direction, in the longitudinal and lateral directions on the upper face of the bed to generate prescribed patterns of digital compression by vertical motion of the rods at prescribed dislocation and speed.
SOLUTION: Plural voids are formed in the longitudinal and lateral directions on the upper face 50a of this bed and pushing rods 51 are fit movably in the vertical direction into each void. As a means to vertically move each pushing rod 51 at prescribed dislocation and speed, a motor 53 to drive the pushing rod and a female screw 72 coaxially equipped on an output shaft 53a of the motor 53 is provided. Each pushing rod 51 is supported by nesting pipes 70 via a compression spring 73 at the upper part. The motor 53 is rotated at a prescribed number of revolution in the prescribed direction based on the number of revolution and the direction stored in a memory means to vertically move the plural pushing rods at prescribed dislocation and speed to generate comfortable digital compression patterns.
