PURPOSE: To enable utilization of many kinds of bathing facilities through single equipment, by a method wherein, after a bathing person seats and closes a slide type opening closing entrance and exit, through proper control of hot water spray control part and a gas injection control part, a kind of gas and a sequent order are changed, and a kind of a bath is changed.

CONSTITUTION: A bathing person 12 enters a casing 1, and is seated at a seat part 3. After a slide type opening and closing entrance and exit 2 is pulled to the rear in an opening and closing direction 11 of the slide type opening closing direction 11 of the slide type opening closing entrance and exit and is closed, a hot water spray part 4 is grasped, the temperature or an amount of hot water fed with a pressure from a hot water forced feed device 7 is set to a desired value by using a hot water control part 10, and hot water is sprayed on the body part of the bathing person 12 by himself. In case gas is carbon dioxide gas, a gas forced feed device 8 is filled with liquid carbon dioxide or solid carbon dioxide to feed it with a pressure to a gas injection part 5, and the casing 1 is filled with carbon dioxide gas by using an injection control part 9 from the injection part 5. The gas forced feed device 8 can easily feed many kinds of gases or aromatic materials with a pressure, and through control of the injection control part 9, the casing 1 for multipurpose atmospheric bath can be easily filled with a gaseous material from the gas injection part 5.
