Abstract:

To solve problems of a conventional protective hood made of cloth or quilting cloth containing cotton between cloth pieces and insufficient for protecting a head from a falling material and another type of protective hood for only the protection of the head at the sacrifice of convenience for carry and applicability as a daily livingware after evacuation or the like.

The protective hood (1) includes a body (2) and an inner cloth (3) including a towel cloth. The body (2) of the protective hood is disposed with a foldable resinous or elastic, flexible head-protection material (4), and the inner cloth (3) is sewn to the body in an easily separable manner. A bell (6), a miniature flashlight (7), a miniature whistle (8), or the like, are detachably attached to a fixing strap (5) attached to the body (2) of the protective hood, and accordingly, the head is protected from a falling material and the present position of the wearing person can be informed of when evacuating in hazard. The hood is usable in multiple purposes as daily livingwares after evacuation.
