Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform constant voltage control efficiently by using a high-speed multistage chopper control circuit for an acceleration power source circuit consisting of only semiconductor elements. CONSTITUTION:An error amplifier 20 consists of a measured voltage feeder 21 from a voltage divider, a feeder 22 for setting an output voltage, and an operational amplifier which peforms the impedance conversion of signals from both feeders, error amplification, etc. The output of the error amplification part is inputted to a clock circuit 31 which controls the on-off time of a switching element and the A/D conversion part 30 consisting of an A/D converter 32 to generate a digital signal corresponding to the difference between a set voltage and a measured voltage. This signal is sent to the gate circuit of the switching element through a latch circuit 40 and an amplifying circuit 41 in order to obtain proper waveform and timing as the gate circuit trigger circuit of the switching element. Consequently, voltage variation in a short time is controllable by supplying an on-off signal to the switching element 12.
