PURPOSE: To use the furniture for many purposes without deteriorating the appearance by constituting it so that a shelf part is attached so as to be turnable centering around a support member, and each shelf part is superposed by its turning.

CONSTITUTION: The furniture is constituted of a single support member 2, and shelf plate members 4a, 4b, 4C and 4d for fixing supporting legs 5a, 5b, 5c and 5d fixed like hanging down to the lower part from the reverse side of one end, respectively. A fitting hole of the shelf plate member is fitted to a column part, supported by a shelf receiving part formed by the respective stage parts 3a, 3b, 3c and 3b, and the shelf plate members 4a, 4b, 4c and 4d for forming a horizontal shelf part can turn in the horizontal direction by using each column part 2b, 2c, 2d and 2e of the support member 2 as an axis, and with respect to the end part of the supporting leg side of the shelf plate member, by forming long the shelf plate member of the upper stage against the shelf plate member of the lower stage, the shelf plate member of the lower stage is superposed on the shelf plate member of the upper stage, and a compact form can be obtained. The shelf plate member constituted in a multistage can be used for various purposes as to its multistage.
