Abstract:
PURPOSE: To efficiently absorb the earthquake energy and secure the safety by assembling a vibration suppressing device using the low yield point steel, to a truss crossing part in the vicinity of the center of an upper horizontal beam.
CONSTITUTION: As for a multistoried warehouse which is constituted so as to have a gate shaped section, surrounding a stacker passage 1, a vibration suppressing device 3 in which the low yield point steel is employed for a truss crossing part at the center part of an upper horizontal beam 2 is arranged. In case of a large earthquake, the vibration suppressing device 3 which uses the low yield point steel is plastically deformed to absorb the earthquake energy efficiently.
