Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make simply performable joyfully an electronic instrument even for a beginner who can't read a musical score by displaying score information in the vertical direction according to the stored performance data and scrolling the displayed score information at a tempo according to the performance data in a prescribed direction.
SOLUTION: The score information is displayed in the vertical direction according to the stored performance data, and the displayed score information is scrolled in a prescribed direction at a tempo according to the performance data. In this system, note information by a picture display is read out from a performance data area secured in a RAM 5, and when the note is incorporated in the read out note information, a sound generation permission range and a muffling permission range are decided at every note, and are stored in the prescribed area of the RAM 5, and the note is displayed on a display 7 in the shape of an apple. Then, the score (respective notes) is scrolled following the advance (tempo) of a piece of music, and a performer key depresses a key board 1 answering to the note, and performs the music when respective notes of the score arrive at prescribed positions.
