Abstract:
To improve taking in of and reproduction of musical performance data.SOLUTION: A method according to the present invention has steps of generating a first command for use in encoding a first musical event and of generating a first message corresponding to the first command. The first message is used for encoding a first acoustic attribute type and the first acoustic attribute value of the first musical event, and the first acoustic attribute value is used for designating a first value of the first acoustic attribute type and for generating a second message corresponding to the first command. The second message is used for encoding a second acoustic attribute type and a second acoustic attribute value of the first musical event. The second acoustic attribute value is used for designating a second value of the second acoustic attribute type, for generating time stamp data indicating time when the first musical event occurs, and for transmitting the first command, the first message and the second message to a computer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
