The musical piece selection-type content reproducing device 100 is provided with a musical piece selection means 1012 selecting the musical piece interlocked with the video/sound contents from a musical piece accumulation means 200 accumulating a plurality of musical pieces based on selection information, a video/sound contents decoding means 110 decoding the video/sound contents and setting them to be a video signal and a sound signal and a sound synthesis means 112 decoding the musical piece selected by the musical piece selection means based on reproduction time information and synthesizing the sound signal.
