Title:
MUSICAL SOUND CONTROL DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05341786
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a musical sound synthesis device which exactly detects the condition in that a player stops his performance and matches his performance objectives and musical sounds generated.

CONSTITUTION: Input gloves 1 are put on the right and the left hands of a player. At the sections of each finger, bending sensors 2, whose resistance values vary in accordance with the bending angle of a finger, are provided, respectively. The resistance variations of the sensors 2 are detected by a specific detecting circuit not shown in the figure and are supplied to an A/D converter 3. The converter 3 converts voltage changes to digital signals and supplies them to a microcomputer 4. The microcomputer 4 computes the amount of displacement from the motion displacement at the completion of finger motions and T prior to that and bending speed and bending acceleration. Moreover, a sound source 7 synthesizes musical sound signals in accordance with the amount of displacement, bending speed, bending acceleration and the parameters set by a function switch group 5 and supplies them to a sound system 8. The signals are converted into analog signals and musical sounds are generated by a speaker.
