Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily execute a function annexed to a function extended by an extension board.
SOLUTION: This tone color extension board 3 is mounted on a body sound source 1 to generate a musical sound signal with an extended new tone color. Pattern information for executing arpeggio articulation and phrase pronuciation fitted to the extended tone color and a sequencer for executing pattern articulation in response to the pattern information are mounted on the extension board 3. When the tone color extension board 3 is attached to the sound source device 1, a function setting data corresponding to a new function mounted on the extension board 3 is read out to conduct setting as to the new function by an operator 15 of the sound source device 1.
