Abstract:
To provide a mutant alkaline protease stably preserved even in a detergent for clothes containing an oxidant formulated therewith, a detergent for an automatic dish washer, etc., and exhibiting sufficient activities.
The mutant alkaline protease is obtained by substituting an amino acid residue at the 211 position or a position equivalent thereto of a specific amino acid sequence, with another amino acid residue in a highly alkaline protease having the amino acid sequence having ≥90% homology with a specific amino acid sequence derived from the genus Bacillus.
