Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:The titled compound shown by the formula I (X' is H, halogen, or methyl; X2, X3, X4 and X5 are H or halogen; Y is O or S).
EXAMPLE: N-(2-Chlorobenzoyl)-N'-[3-chloro-4-(4-trifluoromethylsulfonylphenoxy) phenyl]urea.
USE: An insecticide, having improved activity as an active ingredient of insecticide. Effective against various kinds of vermin, especially effective for controlling noxious insects.
PROCESS: A benzoylisocyanate shown by the formula II is reacted with a phenoxyaniline shown by the formula III in the presence of a solvent, e.g., benzene, etc. at 0W120°C for 0.1W24hr to give a compound shown by the formula I.
