NEW MATERIAL: A compd. of formula I, (where R1 = a lower alkyl, an alkoxy, a halogen; n=0, 1 or 2; R2=H, a lower alkyl or an acyl; R3=H, a lower alkyl, an alkoxycarbonyl or optionally a substd. phenyl; A = a saturated heterocycle composed of -C-N-O- and 6 to 8 cyclic atoms).
EFFECT: cis-6-E-thoxycarbonyl-octahydrooxazino-[2,3-a]-β-carboline.
USE: An antitumor agent or an antiviral agent.
PREPARATION: Production of the compd. of formula I comprises transforming a hydroxyamino compd. of formula II with a compd. of formula III, (where Z = a group which can make a double electrophilic attack on aliphatic N and C of an indole ring; and X = an eliminable group), into a compd. of formula IV, and after releasing block, cyclizing the compd. of formula IV intramolecularly.
